TRUTH ABOUT FAIRNESS CREAMS AND HOW THEY DESTROY YOUR SKIN

This cruel world categorize people in two categories one, who are fair, Clean complexioned have some glow and charm on their face
 
Fair Glowing skin tone
and other category is of people who are Dark, do not have any glow and charm on their face, lack confidence and avoid meeting people and world is constantly hell bent riding on their back to criticize and pull them down.

 IS IT REALLY IMPORTANT FOR ONE TO BE FAIR?

Probably yes! No fairness means- no friends, no job, no marriage and this all means-no HAPPINESS.Is it really true or just the perception of the mind?

Companies dealing in Fairness/brightness creams, lotions, face washes, serums, soaps etc etc have eaten up half of the market and has done an incredible business of more than 3000 crores...

Yes you heard it right. They have occupied more than half of the market.
 


When most of us see before and after pictures 

we go crazy and want to look one of them. We get carried away easily. Who doesn’t want to look like a glowing bulb? Ask me.

Its not only women but men have also joined the bandwagon after John Abraham, Sharukh Khan and others have promoted fairness creams religiously on television and they even claim to give you fairness in just 10 days. 


There is this fairness cream company which challenges to give you fairness in just 5 days. So what is the truth? How can one change the color of skin in just 5 days? Come on I can’t even think of changing my wardrobe in 5 days... Let alone the skin color. I thought its all in your genes.


These fairness cream companies not only promise you to give glowing bulb like fairness but also promise to enhance your complexion, remove spots,discoloration and also nourish your skin.Seriously which fairness cream gives nourishment.

So how does one get attracted to Fairness creams? What is it actually that drives a person crazy to buy such products. Is it ingredients that are mentioned on it or is it a celebrity endorsing power or is it that inner desire to become fair.



WHAT DOES A FAIRNESS CREAM DO?

Fairness creams have strong bleaching agent that helps in lightening the skin and also they contain steroids that prevent skin from secreting Melanin which is a skin coloring pigment.

WHAT IS SKIN LIGHTENING?

Skin lightening or bleaching refer to the practice of using chemical substances in an attempt to lighten skin tone or provide an even skin complexion by lessening the concentration of melanin. It’s a chemical process.

WHAT DOES IT CONTAIN?

  • Fairness creams contain Hydroquinone which is a strong bleaching agent but doctor advice not to use more than 2% of hydroquinone as it can be harmful for skin.
  • They contain Licorice, Kojic Acid but even these drugs need some moderation.
  • Toxic metal Mercury is found in almost all the fairness creams.
  •  It contains steroids.

ILL EFFECTS OF FAIRNESS CREAMS:

  •  If one uses fairness creams for a longer period of time it may cause skin rashes, irritation, kidney problems and worst of all CANCER.

  •  Skin becomes thinner due to bleaching creams.

  • Every time you step out in sun your skin might have allergic reactions.

     

  •    It leads to non secretion of Melanin which is actually not good for us.

  •  It’s all TEMPORARY. So what’s the use?It's actually harmful for your skin.

    So whats the Solution??????????

  • Mix grated Raw Potato, Honey and Lemon Juice and apply on skin .Leave it for 15 minutes and wash it.

  •  One can simply rub Cucumber Juice on face.

  •   Mix Gram flour, Honey, Turmeric and sandalwood in equal proportions and apply on face and body.

  •  Rub plain yoghurt on your face, it is a natural bleaching agent.

  •  Rubbing Aloe vera gel can lighten dark spots.

  • For a glowing complexion, use papaya on your face and entire body before bath. Let it be for 15-20 minutes and then wash it and best is eat PAPAYA daily.

  • Mix oatmeal with tomato juice and apply the mixture on your face.

These natural bleaching agents will help you in achieving desired results. So don’t fall for such false claims by all these Fairness cream companies but sadly, the question that begs to be asked is, does a Person’s destiny depend on the color of his/her skin?

How to Kick Start Your Day

1.  Wake up early in the morning: 

“Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy wealthy and wise”


Our ancestors were so smart and what they taught us was useful too. Earlier people used to sleep early and wake up early and thus had at least a life span of 70-80 years but now days its reverse, people have become nocturnal and everything that’s against nature is ruining people and thus taking toll on their health. 
Rising early will help you to accomplish more during the day. Try to get up early in the morning.
STRETCH IN THE BED
2.           Stretch every extremity for 15 seconds:

Rather then pouncing straight out of bed in hurry, spend 5 to 10 mins in bed, stretch as much as possible and meditate. Yes, seriously the moment you wake up don act like a jerk. Just relax; you just woke up from your beauty sleep. Stretch your body and then try to meditate for some time. You have to spend whole day struggling for something or the other.

3.           Start the day with physical exercise. Exercise at least 3 days a week:

We have heard it number of time that Exercising is important but in the morning it’s like “OH-GOD-WHO-WILL-EXERCISE-NOW” in the evening “IT-WAS-A-BUSY-DAY-I-AM-TIRED”. Like in my case I always feel that during the day I can exercise but certainly not in the morning or evening but those who are working for them it’s next to impossible. They don’t want to be caught exercising in the rest rooms. But start your day with some sort of physical exercise. You need not move mountains for that just little stretching .Exercise helps you in number of ways:
·       It increases your energy level.
·       It makes you happier.
·       It makes your brain healthy.
·       It improves your health.
·       It helps you sleep better.
·       It helps you maintain a healthy weight.
In short exercising is good for your MIND, BODY and SOUL.

4.           Get a dose of sunshine:

A healthy dose of sunshine is vital for good health. It’s a natural source of Vitamin D. Vitamin D is proving to be an important contender in the fight against heart disease, Breast Cancer, Metabolic syndrome, Diabetes and many other diseases. You can always choose exercising in open or just take a walk in the garden.

·       Begin with just a few minutes of exposure, until you have a pink foundation. Never let your skin burn.
·       Do not exceed the safe daily limits. Put on a hat and the proper clothing, and a sunscreen that contains a physical sun block.

5.           Start your day with lemon and hot water:
Trust me this helps like a “sanjeevani butti”.For people who are struggling with loosing weight for them it will work like a magic.
6.           Try taking a cool shower :

Yes taking cool shower in the morning will help you a lot at least it will help in relieving stress.
7.            Listen to some music that will keep you going for the day:

Listen to some good numbers from either Bollywood or Hollywood. For god sake don’t start your day with ghazals and sad songs. Listen to some good numbers. This will refresh your mood.
8.           Replace Black tea /coffee with Green tea:

Amazing!!!!..I can’t tell you in one post what amazing benefits Green tea has. With 3 cups of Green tea everyday, all your health related issues could be solved. Trust me on this.
9.           Give time to yourself. :
Pop up some lip gloss, dab a little amount of foundation,smear your eyes with Kohl and apply blush and you are ready to go girl.

 10.     Have a good healthy breakfast:

This is a healthy way to start your day. Choose options wisely don’t just hop on food. Carefully decide a day before and try to include Variety in your breakfast.

11.        To empower your brain try some Brain games. For E.g. Sudoku, cross word puzzle:

This will help you to increase brain power.

12.     Read at least one motivational quote or one inspiring short story everyday:

 This will help you a lot in molding your thoughts. Read some spiritual stories. You can follow speaking tree or buy some good books that are available in the market.

13.     Create a simple to do list:

Focus on your objectives of the day and Outline what work you need to do, errands to be completed, and plan for next day as well. This will solve half of your problems.


14.     Smile as much as you can.
Smile is the vainest thing you can wear without costing you anything.
